Forvia Boosts Security with Pentera’s Automated Validation

Customer stories
Dec 08, 2025

Forvia needed better visibility and prioritization after traditional penetration tests failed to clearly identify its most critical vulnerabilities. By implementing Pentera, the team gained automated validation, clear attack path mapping, and insight into actively exploitable risks across thousands of assets. Today, Forvia runs scalable assessments across 3,500 IPs per test, with reliable results and strong operational support.

Frederic Petrus, Head of Cyber Security Control and Regularity Management at Forvia, a global leader in the automotive industry, shares how Pentera enhanced visibility and prioritization across the organization’s security operations.

As the seventh-largest automotive supplier worldwide, Forvia initially relied on traditional penetration testing across its sites but struggled to clearly prioritize detected vulnerabilities or understand which exposures posed the greatest risk. To address this, the team sought an automated security validation solution that could identify actively exploitable vulnerabilities and map full attack paths to highlight the most critical risks.

With Pentera, Forvia gained a clear, actionable view of its cybersecurity posture across sites. Within three months, the team was able to scale testing significantly, running simulations across 3,500 IPs per assessment. Despite early challenges due to scale, strong collaboration with Pentera’s support team ensured smooth implementation, enabling consistent, reliable security validation at enterprise scale.
