About the Role:

Pentera is growing, and we’re looking for a Financial accountant to take ownership of day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and compliance. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented finance professional with 3-5 years of experience, who thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. You will work closely with senior finance leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy, optimize processes, and support strategic decision-making.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial operations, including monthly close, reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to help drive financial efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP standards.
  • Manage the tax filings, audits, and compliance requirements. 
  • Work with internal teams to optimize financial processes and controls.
  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and cost optimization opportunities.

  • Provide financial insights and reports to support business leaders.
  • Responsible for the monthly payroll process (Trinet) and commission calculation
  • Oversee all the finance activities, including assistance with the collection efforts, partners portals, accounts payables, payment to vendors and credit cards payments.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management, ideally in a tech or SaaS company.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements, reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills.
  • Understanding of the US GAAP and financial compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Collaboration with tax advisors in order to ensure compliance
  • CPA or equivalent financial certification – an advantage.
