About the Role:

We’re looking for a talented and driven Regional Sales Manager based in Austria or Bavaria (Germany) to lead our expansion in the DACH region.

This is a unique opportunity to become Pentera’s first representative in Austria, playing a key role in establishing our presence and footprint in the country.

The role is perfect for someone with strong cybersecurity sales experience, a technical background, and a passion for building new business: including opening new regions, launching partner ecosystems, and helping shape our go-to-market strategy from the ground up.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Carry and exceed a direct sales quota (minimum 5 years of experience).
  • Build and execute a go-to-market plan to deeply penetrate key accounts in the region.
  • Open and grow the territory — including developing regional partner networks and new logos.
  • Work hands-on with prospects: lead demos, complex pilots, and solution validation processes.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: from lead qualification to contract close.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with channel partners (resellers/ distributors).
  • Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers and ensure long-term success.
  • Own forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting to the Director of Sales.

Requirements

Requirements: 

  • At least 2 years of quota-carrying field sales in tech, preferably cybersecurity.
  • Proven success in building and growing new markets or regions 
  • Experience working closely with and managing partner channels.
  • A technical background or a formal education in software, computer science, or technology – preferred.
  • Ability to understand business needs and map them to technical solutions.
  • Consultative sales approach with strong communication and value-based selling.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Native-level German and fluent English – spoken and written.
  • Based in Austria or Bavaria, with the ability to work independently while staying closely connected to the team.
  • Energetic, self-driven, and able to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
