About the Role:

As a Sales Engineer at Pentera, you’ll engage directly with prospects to present our technology and provide meaningful insights. The role offers exposure to advanced cybersecurity challenges and the evolving world of automated penetration testing. You'll work closely with security teams across industries in BeNeLux region, gaining hands-on experience at the core of modern cyber defense.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate deep technical knowledge in cybersecurity across customer environments
  • Lead customer engagements through introduction meetings and in-depth technical sessions to educate and identify expansion opportunities
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations that highlight both technical depth and business value, in person and virtually
  • Collaborate with partners to strengthen customer relationships and service delivery
  • Represent Pentera at industry events, conferences, and customer visits as a technical expert
  • Support on-site product evaluations, installations, and post-sale activities to ensure customer success and satisfaction

Requirements


  • 7+ years in a Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or professional services role.
  • Experience in a cybersecurity and supporting enterprise accounts.
  • Availability for frequent travel in Benelux (up to 50%).
  • Fluent in English and Dutch- a must, Flemish- an advantage.
  • Strong foundation in IT infrastructure, including OS (Windows, Linux), Networks, and Active Directory.
  • Deep understanding of network security concepts, cybersecurity methodologies, and Microsoft network protocols.
  • An advantage for individuals holding CEH, CISSP, or similar certifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical material to small and large groups.
  • A self-driven, high-performing leader and self-learner.
