About the Role

In this position, you’ll be the bridge between cutting-edge technology and real-world cybersecurity needs. As a Sales Engineer in the BeNeLux region, you’ll engage directly with customers, helping them understand the full impact of the Pentera platform and how it can transform their security validation process.

You’ll partner closely with sales, channel, and technical teams, providing expert guidance throughout the customer journey, from the first introduction to successful deployment.

This role places you at the center of cybersecurity innovation, offering hands-on experience with leading enterprises while shaping how organizations protect themselves against evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the trusted technical resource for customers, translating security challenges into actionable Pentera-driven solutions.
  • Design and lead interactive sessions and workshops that uncover customer needs and position Pentera’s technology as the strategic answer.
  • Conduct live and remote demonstrations that showcase the power of the platform with clarity, confidence, and measurable impact.
  • Collaborate with account executives, channel partners, and technical stakeholders to create unified and effective customer strategies.
  • Represent Pentera in conferences, executive meetings, and technical forums, strengthening our visibility and thought leadership in the region.
  • Drive the technical success of proof-of-value projects, ensuring smooth implementation, adoption, and long-term satisfaction.

Requirements


  • At least 5 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or a related technical consulting role.
  • Solid background in cybersecurity with proven experience supporting enterprise-scale clients.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the BeNeLux region (up to 50%).
  • Fluency in English and Dutch is mandatory; Flemish is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of IT environments — including Windows and Linux operating systems, networking, and Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with network security, core cybersecurity methodologies, and Microsoft network protocols.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to present complex material to diverse audiences.
  • A motivated, autonomous professional with a proactive approach to learning and delivering results.
