About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced technical leader to head Pentera’s Sales Engineering organization across EMEA.
This senior leadership role combines regional strategy with hands-on field engagement. You’ll lead a distributed team of 10+ Sales Engineers and Team Leaders, partner closely with regional sales leadership, and help shape how Pentera delivers technical value to enterprise customers across the region.
Your leadership will directly influence customer success, revenue growth across EMEA, product feedback, and the continued development of a strong, collaborative SE organization.
This role includes frequent travel across EMEA.
Responsibilities:
Regional Technical Leadership
- Define and execute the Sales Engineering strategy across EMEA, ensuring consistent technical excellence in customer engagement and partner collaboration.
- Represent Pentera in executive-level technical discussions and strategic accounts
- Partner with regional sales leadership on planning, forecasting, and execution
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed team of 10+ Sales Engineers
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous development
- Drive hiring, onboarding, regional enablement, and professional growth initiatives
- Establish and standardize best practices and methodologies across the EMEA SE organization
Customer and Field Execution
- Support complex enterprise opportunities through workshops, demos, architecture discussions, and Proofs of Value
- Provide senior guidance during technical validation processes
- Clearly communicate Pentera’s technical and business value to both technical and executive stakeholders
Partner Ecosystem Collaboration
- Strengthen technical alignment with resellers, distributors, VARs, and MSSPs across EMEA
- Lead technical enablement initiatives for resellers and strategic partners
- Support partner-led field motions and contribute to strategic regional partner planning
Cross-Functional Executive Alignment
- Act as the bridge between regional SE and global Product, R&D, Marketing, and Enablement teams
- Provide field insights to inform product direction and positioning
- Represent Pentera at major conferences, events, and industry forums across EMEA
- 10+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, Technical Architecture, or customer-facing technical leadership within cybersecurity or enterprise software
- Experience leading and developing distributed Sales Engineering teams (10+ members) across EMEA
- Strong experience with hybrid and cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern security controls

- Proven experience supporting enterprise customers through complex technical sales cycles
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders
- Experience driving regional strategy and operational execution
- Experience working across diverse EMEA markets
- Fluent English; additional European languages are a strong advantage
- Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 50%)
Preferred
- Background in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, or security validation
- Experience aligning cross-functional teams across sales, product, and partners
- Passion for developing talent and scaling high-performing technical organizations
