“Software is eating the world,” wrote Marc Andreessen, co-founder and general partner of venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz. But here’s the twist – vulnerability is eating software. As we scramble to patch the endless amount of known vulnerabilities in our environments, there’s always a Zero Day vulnerability just waiting to shake things up and keep us on our toes.
What’s important to remember is that we have the processes in place to patch fast and hold our supply chain accountable for their part. If we keep calm and continuously validate that our controls and practices are in place, we will overcome these ordeals.
