This is Pentera

Arik founded Pentera in 2015 together with serial entrepreneur, Arik Faingold. He brings with him leadership experience from the elite cyber warfare group in the Israeli Defense Force’s computer service directorate, and deep domain expertise in penetration testing and other related cyber disciplines.

Amitai has been Pentera’s CEO since January 2018, transitioning the company from a stealth mode startup, into the global category leader it has become, through 3 Funding Rounds, led by AWZ Ventures & The Blackstone Group (Round A), Insight Partners (Round B) and K1 Investment Management (Round C).

Amitai brings Pentera over 15 years of Go To Market experience scaling early stage ventures from none to early revenue, to tens of millions in ARR, across geographies and verticals.

Prior to Pentera, Amitai held senior global sales positions at successful Fintech companies like SuperDerivatives (2005-2012), now part of ICE (NASDAQ:ICE) and Earnix, where, as the VP of Sales, he established and scaled the global sales team, between 2012-2016.

Amitai holds an LL.B and a BA in Business Administration from the Reichman University in Israel and an International Executive MBA from Kellogg- Recanati, awarded jointly by Tel Aviv University in Israel, and Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.

Ran is a cyber security product management veteran with over 15 years of experience, having held leadership positions at Palo Alto Networks, Checkpoint, RSA, and BMC Software, among others. He brings well-honed expertise in growing security products from inception to mass -market adoption in the areas of end-point protection, mobile security, and identity management and authentication.

Aviv is a three-time VP Marketing, speaker, and blogger, with over 20 years of experience in product and marketing leadership, building global brands and driving growth in enterprise software businesses. Since joining Pentera in 2018, Aviv has built the brand from its infancy to a category leader with thousands of members in its community. 

Prior to joining Pentera, Aviv built the Earnix Analytics brand and founded the Excelerate Summit. He also led product and marketing teams at Nexar, Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) and Amdocs (NASDAQ: DOX).

Aviv holds a B.Sc. in Electronics and Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University and an MBA from Bar-Ilan University.

Patrick brings an outstanding track record in crafting winning go-to-market strategies for technology companies. He has held several senior leadership roles in sales and marketing over the past 20 years with successful high-growth companies such as Voltaire (acquired by Mellanox, today NVDA), Anbolt (acquired by AAPL), and Excelero.

Morgan brings Pentera over 15 years of hardcore sales and sales management experience from various technology companies. Prior to Pentera, he worked for 5.5. years at Imperva, a well-recognized cybersecurity company that was acquired by the Private Equity Thoma Bravo for $2.1B back in 2018. In addition to Imperva, Morgan has led sales teams across the US and EMEA at various other software vendors. Among his many achievements at Imperva, Morgan won the Global Leader of the Year Award 2020 for his outstanding sales leadership capabilities. He is excited to bring his vision for successful sales teams to spearhead the EMEA sales efforts.

With over 20 years of experience in Human Resources management, Tzurit Golan cares for the most important resource of Pentera – its people. Prior to joining, Tzurit served as the Senior Vice President at Fyber, a mobile advertising monetization platform, and previous to that in various global tech companies in senior HR roles. At Pentera, she is responsible for driving growth and success through a global people strategy, talent development, and employee experience.

Sivan is a global cyber security leader specializing in consultative sales to C-Level executives and leading sales teams. Sivan joined Pentera in 2018 as regional sales director and has led exponential growth, playing an instrumental role in Pentera becoming the de-facto market leader in Automated Security Validation. Sivan brings 15 years of experience from leadership sales and customer-facing positions at Earnix, Hewlett-Packard, and Comverse.

Ortal joined Pentera in 2020 as the company’s Director of Legal Affairs and was the first and only lawyer at the company. Ortal established the company’s legal department and took a leading role in the company’s latest funding round. Prior to joining Pentera, Ortal held senior legal positions at AppsFlyer and leading Israeli legal services firm Raved, Magriso, Benkel & Co.

Shiran joined Pentera in 2019 as the company’s Finance Manager. She was responsible for building the finance department from the ground up, facilitating ongoing business conduct and accounting analysis, and reporting to investors and the leadership team. Since joining, she has played a pivotal role in all of Pentera’s funding rounds. Prior to Pentera, Shiran held incremental roles at KENA and KPMG.

Alex was one of the company’s first cyber researchers and was instrumental in building Pentera’s research team and expanding the attack capabilities of its automated security validation platform. Prior to joining Pentera, Alex spent eight years in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) as a Technology Officer, where he served as both the Forensics and Incident Response team leader and red team leader.

Alex was one of the first software engineers to join the company in 2017 and quickly became a key contributor in defining the company’s product development processes, recruiting, leading, and driving the company’s engineering team. Prior to Pentera, Alex was a Senior Software Engineer at Datorama, a marketing intelligence platform acquired by Salesforce. Alex served in the IDF Airforce technology unit, where he received a special award from the Commander-in-Chief of the Israeli Air Force.

Chen joined Pentera as a Security Researcher in early 2018 and built Pentera’s Global Support function from the ground up. He is responsible for defining all customer-facing technical processes and establishing the delivery and solutions teams. Prior to Pentera, Chen was an experienced White Hat Hacker leading pentesting and red team exercises for enterprises.

Omer joined Pentera as a Software Engineer, following 10 years of service in the Israeli Air Force. He then crossed over to run the company’s Global Customer Operations team. Since January 2021, Omer has led a trailblazing hybrid team in the development of Pentera Surface, the company’s first software as a service (SaaS) product that extends the security validation platform to include external-facing assets.

Adi joined Pentera in 2021 to establish its global brand and market recognition. Adi brings over 18 years of experience marketing enterprise software solutions. Her track record includes building effective marketing operations from the ground up and accelerating growth for software and cyber startups. Adi has successfully led marketing operations at Luminate Security (acquired by Symantec), Cybellum (acquired by LG), and Earnix.

Natalie is a seasoned business leader with over 10 years of experience in all phases of the Business Lifecycle. In 2020, she joined Pentera as Head of Revenue Operations. Natalie drove Pentera’s go-to-market operations from startup to scaleup by establishing data driven, predictable, and streamlined business processes and accelerating revenue growth. Previously, Natalie managed revenue operations at AppsFlyer and Telit after spending four years with the Foreign Trade Administration of the Israeli Ministry of Economy & Industry, promoting Israel’s international trade.

Natalie was recognized as one of the Top 100 Revenue Operations Leaders in 2022 by The Modern Sale and Collective[i].

Maayan joined Pentera in 2019 as the Marketing Director to build the Digital, Content, and Operations teams from the ground up, generating a qualified sales pipeline and growing the company with the Sales teams. Since joining, she has played a significant role in the company’s success, assuming responsibility for all demand generation activities, including Field, Channel, Digital, and Marketing Operations.  Maayan brings 10 years of digital marketing, building cybersecurity startup marketing for growth. Before Pentera, Maayan was working for several cybersecurity startups, setting up effective Marketing strategies.

Uri joined Pentera in June 2020 as the Head of Sales Development and has since built the SDR department into a global operation, with teams in NA, Israel, and Singapore,  that generates more than 50% of the company’s revenue. With over 20 years of sales and sales development experience,Uri has previously managed inside sales and sales development teams at start-ups including Sisense and Workiz.

Alon is a seasoned Software Engineer and a key member of the Pentera team. He was the company’s first Frontend engineer and singlehandedly managed the client-facing development for three years, embodying Pentera’s One Team value by also serving as the company’s Global IT go-to during its early-mid stage days.
Today, Alon is a leader within Pentera, heading the application infrastructure division and unifying the engineering aspect of the platform. His proficiency in multiple development technologies, including Mobile and Desktop app, Cloud, and environments at scale, proved invaluable during his time as part of the Pentera dev founding team.
Before joining Pentera, Alon built early-stage startup tech stacks in Image Processing, AI, cloud scale, smart cities, and construction marketplaces. He also founded two startups in the Influencer Social Marketing and Travel for Disability fields.
Alon holds a B.Sc in Computer and Software Engineering from the Technion and is a proud father to three young children, Guy, Tom, and Leann, with his wife Emilya.
